Merit Vessies (1993) deals in words, theatre and sound. For every story she works on, she looks for the best way of telling it, in whatever shape that may be.

In 2019, she graduated from the BA Creative Writing at ArtEZ University of the Arts with the poetic construction of language 'De verleiding om af te dalen'.

After this, she followed the MA Contemporary Theatre, Dance & Dramaturgy at Utrecht University, where she graduated in 2021.

Other works were published on platforms like Hard//hoofd, in magazines like Op Ruwe Planken and during festivals including Nieuwe Types, and Wintertuin Festival.

She works as a writer, dramaturg, (assistant) director, voice over and audiocreator.
